Lori Wright works with a wide variety of students and subject areas. Some students come for enrichment above and beyond the standard school curriculum, others for support with learning challenges such as dyslexia or prolonged school absences. Some come from public schools, others private schools, and some home school. Students come for a variety of reasons including beginning reading support, to strengthen writing skills, and mathematics through algebra and geometry.With over 18 years of tutoring experience, 14 as The Inquisitive Mind, Lori has the resources and skills to help with a diverse array of tutoring needs and learning styles. History Established in 1997. After four years of tutoring, including management at two different tutoring centers in King and Snohomish counties, Lori opened The Inquisitive Mind in 1997 to focus on student’s individual needs with direct accountability between herself and her student family needs. Lori has always provided communication with parents, school counselors, teachers, academic and medical therapists and others as part of her full tutoring service.
Lori Wright is a Washington-state certified teacher with 18 years of tutoring experience. � Lori earned her BA in Education from Whitworth College and pursued a Masters in School Counseling at Seattle Pacific University.Prior to opening The Inquisitive Mind in 1997, Lori provided tutoring and managerial services for two different tutoring centers in King and Snohomish counties. In addition to tutoring, Lori has taught WASL- prep classes at the Denny Community Learning Center, English-as-a-Second Language (ESL) classes, a Children's Literature Class and assisted with the Sealth Saturday tutorial.Lori is a long-term active participant in the local Association of Professional Tutors.
