Starfire Education specializes in math, science, art, and coding education. We offer In-Home Tutoring and After School and Summer Programs in math, science, art, and coding in Menlo Park, Palo Alto, Los Altos, and the surrounding area.A Starfire coach will ignite your child’s learning, inspire them to outstanding performances, and bring a smile to their face in the process.The Starfire experience is designed to encourage a growth mindset, persistence, perseverance, and resilience leading to inner-confidence.Starfire coaches are graduates of Stanford, Cal, and other top tier universities; many hold advanced degrees in math, science, engineering, and computer science. History Established in 2012. My son Jake, a Stanford grad and I developed the business plan for Starfire Education when he came home to Maine for a few weeks in the summer before his graduation in 2012. In 2012 my wife, Beppie and I moved to San Carlos, CA and I launched Starfire Education as an In-Home Tutoring Service. My sister-in-law, Joy Weintz introduced me to Aarti Chanda who is the PTO co-chair of after school programs at Oak Knoll School. Aarti asked if I could do a math after school program for Oak Knoll kids. I said yes, and we started the program Fall 2013. From there we have expanded our math after school program to schools in Palo Alto and Los Altos. This summer we are offering a math, science, art, and coding program at Addison School in Palo Alto.
