East Bay Tutoring

Private, in-home math, biology, chemistry, and physics tutoring and ACT & SAT Prep. History Established in 2008. Joe Sweeney, the founder of East Bay Tutoring, was a chemistry Ph.D. student at Berkeley studying biophysical and quantum chemistry.  He loved teaching and found that he could explain math and science to students in ways that allowed them to learn the information with lightning speed.  He decided to leave Berkeley with his Master’s, founded East Bay Tutoring, further developed his teaching techniques, recruited and trained the Bay Area’s best team of math and science tutors.
