Sports & Scholars provides expert Athletic and Academic training to all levels of students and athletes. Many of our tutors are current and former collegiate athletes. For the student-athletes we tutor, we match with tutors of their sport. A big part of our philosophy is mentorship and one of the ways that makes us particularly unique is the athletic mentorship we can provide as part of the college recruitment process. Being student athletes ourselves, we understand the demands on a student athlete’s schedule. For this reason, we don’t have a building and instead come to you, whether that be your home or your school or practice field.Our philosophy centers on teaching students to learn how to learn, to slow down, to learn how learning takes place, to learn their own gifts and learning styles, to learn to prioritize learning over doing. We teach a way of learning, rather than a formula for completing tasks.We offer all subjects, SAT/ACT test prep & private coaching in many sports.
