Although AAS is a for-profit business, social impact is our main priority. For this reason, we carry a wide range of services to suit a variety of budgets and needs. We also provide financial assistance for individuals that can demonstrate significant financial need. Our most popular services are shown below:Tutoring- The team at AAS recognizes that different students have diverse learning styles, unique interests, and varying academic strengths and weaknesses. As a result, the AAS academic tutoring approach incorporates the development of a learning plan that caters to the unique dynamics of each of our clients.College Counseling- Our college and career counselors have mastered the secrets of the college application process, and can assist our clients in becoming competitive applicants for many of the undergraduate and graduate programs of their choice. SAT Prep- Our comprehensive test preparation is provided by staff who have scored -at minimum- in the top 95th percentile. History Established in 2012. Academic Achievement Services (AAS) is a newly founded social enterprise that is established to develop a more even playing field for the academic and professional success of individuals of color throughout the Greater Los Angeles area. Currently, our staff serves clients in Los Angeles, Inglewood, San Gabriel Valley, and the South Bay. Breanna graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Southern California (USC), where she received both her undergraduate degree in Public Policy and her graduate degree in the Master of Urban Planning program. As a product of the Los Angeles Unified School District, Breanna has mastered the methods necessary to navigate and succeed in the (K-12) public school system. Breanna was a Trustees Scholar at USC (full-tuition merit scholarship recipient), as well as both a Campus Ambassador and a Community Liaison for the USC Center for Black, Cultural and Student Affairs. In her position, she assisted aspiring students with their college applications and connected potential students with the appropriate resources to support their academic ambitions. Breanna also has experience as a K-12 academic tutor and mentor through the Chaka Kahn Foundation, and has instructed literacy classes for youth of color through the Children's Defense Fund's Freedom School.
