The College Transfer Guru

Steve Burleigh has assisted families throughout the U.S. and internationally as well as in the Los Angeles area. �He specializes in assisting transfer students from �both community colleges and four year colleges and universities. He works with students with special needs including performing and visual artists, athletes, and those with learning differences. He holds a B.A. from the University of California at Berkeley and the Certificate in College Counseling from UCLA Extension and has been an instructor in that program since 2012. �He started the Los Angeles independent college counseling firm College Pathways� eleven years ago and created The College Transfer Guru in 2016. �He is a member of the National Association of College Admission Counseling (NACAC), the Western Association of College Admission Counselors (WACAC), and the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA).
