Specifix Prep uses an advanced, proprietary SAT assessment to identify a students particular strengths and weaknesses and create a truly customized program at a fraction of the price of traditional SAT instruction. Students can work with one of our rock star teachers in person, online, or in classroom setting to improve their SAT scores. We also offer a self-study guide for students who prefer to study on their own. History Established in 2011. Patrick Bock was one of the country’s most highly-requested SAT tutors while working for The Princeton Review. Students paid hundreds of dollars an hour to work with him. He gradually became disillusioned with the high-cost, low-quality materials he was using and began to design his own test preparation curriculum. To do so, he analyzed thousands of SAT questions to create the “Reasoning Test Genome Project.” This analysis allowed him to map out every concept and skill tested on the SAT. He then created an innovative diagnostic test that quickly identifies students’ exact issues and allows him to create a 100% personalized syllabus. This approach creates effective, efficient programs and allows students to focus only on their areas of weakness.
