With a passion for tutoring and experience as a classroom teacher, I have developed a successful approach to helping students overcome frustrating challenges and achieve their academic goals.I know the common pitfalls that make concepts difficult for students to understand, and I offer tips and strategies that help them build their own reasoning skills through guided and independent practice.By creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment, I make it possible for students to ask questions and make mistakes with no fear of being lectured or put down.My qualifications include - 4 years experience instructing in primary to advanced levels of Math, Science, and English, as well as in preparation for SAT, ACT, FSA, ISEE, GED, GRE, FTCE, and ASVAB testing.- experience instructing in a classroom environment - a Bachelor's degree in Economics and a minor in Math. - an energetic appreciation for the subjects I tutor!
