Tenjin Tutoring is a test preparation and ongoing academic enrichment and support company in Park Slope, Brooklyn. �We provide one-on-one tutoring in students’ homes by our exceptional tutors, using our signature approach to address areas of individualized student need and improve test scores. History Established in 2018. Tenjin Tutoring is the creation of lifelong Park Slope residents and friends, Ryan deLorge and Steven Sullivan. �Initially developed as a submission for the Brooklyn Public Library PowerUP competition, Tenjin Tutoring was born out of a desire to assist students to achieve admissions offers from the best schools to allow them to pursue a course of study that positions them strategically for their desired careers. �Ryan is a local entrepreneur. Steven is a former NYC public school teacher and private tutor. Tenjin Tutoring’s curriculum was developed in consultation with Barbara Hubert, PhD ABD and Special Education Curriculum Specialist at New Visions for Public Schools.
