TutorPUG offers relationship-based tutoring to all college students, high school students, and middle school students. We excel in the fields of math and science – but offer assistance in other classes as well, as well as ACT and SAT test prep. At TutorPUG, our tutors strive to connect with the student to not only provide curricular information, but to help the student navigate the entire educational and academic ocean, where the waters are sometimes rough! We at TutorPUG are the Student’s Best Friend! History Established in 2005. TutorPUG grew out of its “Alpha Dog’s” – Katie’s – passion for and knack of explaining math to students in need. She started with one client in 2005, and within 4 months and through only word of mouth, she had gained 20 additional students and had a waiting list. Katie then began hiring tutors just like her – not just math and science robots, but people who truly cared about helping students get through school, recognizing that there is more to a math grade than just grasping the material. Rather than just hiring “smart math and science tutors,” TutorPUG employs mentors and life-coach-focused people who can ALSO explain math and science. �TutorPUG has a physical office in Norman, but also employs tutors who can meet students in the OKC Metro area at locations more convenient to them.
