Beyond College and Career Counseling

I have worked as an educational researcher and evaluator since 2005. My area of focus for the last decade has been the transition from high school to life beyond, or what we call College and Career Readiness. I conduct research and evaluation projects around the academic, social, and emotional skills that predict success in college, careers, and life. I am an expert in David Conley's Four Keys of College and Career Readiness, a model that describes the skills students need to be prepared for college and careers. I co-developed a survey to measure the Four Keys called CampusReady which has been administered to 78,180 students, teachers, administrators, and school counselors from 193 schools in 20 states.Now I use my expertise to help young people set high aspirations for their careers and their lives. I coach young people and their adults as they design and follow Strategic Plans built around Life Goals and I help monitor progress along the way.
