I tutor middle school through college level mathematics, and have extensive experience teaching math, as well as helping with homework and test preparation. I am very proficient in many technologies used in mathematics classes, and can help operate and interpret these tools. I make my tutoring sessions as student-centered as possible by starting with what the student feels they will need from me in order to accomplish their goals (understand something, do well on a test, finish homework…). In addition, I do my best to present mathematics material in an easy, slow, and light-hearted manner as possible in order to reduce students’ anxiety and stress. History Established in 2011. I began private tutoring in 2011, after being put on a private tutor list through the University of Arizona’s Mathematics Department. I was put on this list for my participation in a class in which I went out to middle and high schools and tutored students during school hours. Since then, I have tutored in both 1-on-1 and group settings, and have expanded the subjects I tutor from elementary school through college level courses (differential equations, statistics, proof writing, Calculus, and linear algebra, to name some).
