The Whole Student College and Career Advising was founded by a former school counselor and established to fill a need for personalized and professional college and career guidance for teens and their families in the Orange County area. School Counselors are responsible for assisting students with educational planning and college guidance. Unfortunately the school counselor to student ratio in the U.S. is 1:471 and in the state of California the ratio is 1:1016 (American School Counselors Association). On average school counselors spend 38 minutes with each student over four years.Careful educational planning maximizes college opportunities. As the founder of The Whole Student my goal is to assist students in finding and gaining acceptance to colleges where they will thrive! This is a process that requires time and personalized attention. I am available for students and their families through every step of the college admission processes.
Lisa is the sole Independent Educational Consultant (IEC) and founder of The Whole Student College & Career Advising. She earned her master's degree in counseling with a specialization in school counseling from Chapman University and holds a Certificate in College Admissions Counseling from UCLA's Extensions Program. Lisa has over 17 years of experience empowering students to explore and discover their passions, talents and aptitudes. Since 2011 she has guided hundreds of students through the college admissions process. �Lisa is passionate about helping teens and young adults find their element!
