I provide private tutoring for Math and Chemistry courses, including Test Preparation for Standardized Tests. I attended the University of California-Irvine where I studied chemistry, due to my strong interest in the discipline, and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. I have more than 10 years of experience teaching students, both one-on-one and in a classroom setting, of all different age groups: elementary school children, to middle and high school students, to college students, to adults returning to school. Since I have several years of experience tutoring students, I am familiar with the best approach to help understand the material and can tailor the sessions to each particular student. Therefore, I know what works best and what does not. I believe motivation, persistence, and good study habits are key to improving academic performance.
