Her educational background includes years of training in mathematics and physics. Before living in Southern California, she taught middle and high-school level math for ten years abroad. Her work experience has given her exposure to working with students from many different backgrounds and skill levels. Lyana has experience implementing Common Core standards and pays particular attention to drawing connections between the concepts, students' interests, and real-world applications.
