Evolve Exam Prep & Tutoring started as a company called Regents Exam Prep. It was started by a certified science teacher with over 16 years of classroom and tutoring experience. REP began running full day Regents exam review sessions at Iona College in New Rochelle. REP also began to provide private tutors to give students individualized attention with a variety of subjects. Soon the company branched out into SAT, ACT and other exam prep. The review sessions were designed by certified teachers to be different from other test prep companies. Sessions are designed to be dynamic and to assess and address student weakness. The constant adaptation to student needs, changing exam formats and state educational requirement changes eventually led to the name Evolve Exam Prep & Tutoring.
