I work one-on-one with math students of all ages and skill levels in order to build their confidence and boost their abilities. Whether it is middle school, high school, or even a parent going back to college, I can help! I currently provide services to the Main Line Area school districts and private schools assisting students with Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, SAT/ACT Prep, and College Math. By really getting to know my students and building a positive relationship with them, I can develop individualized tutoring plans to fit their unique learning styles, utilize their strengths, and boost their confidence!I encounter many frustrated students who dislike their math classes and dread doing homework assignments. We all know math can be a subject that one has difficulty relating to and that is why an adept tutor is important to make learning easy, effective, and enjoyable. I take pride in making math more “tolerable” for the disinterested student with my livel History Established in 2011. My tutoring career started as a supplement income to my teaching jobs. In a tough market a second income was necessary but eventually budget cuts led to a large layoff in my school district. It was then that I decided I had enough clientele to attempt making tutoring my full time career.
My name is Robert and I was born and raised in the Audubon/Trooper area of Pennsylvania. �I am a 2001 graduate of the former Kennedy-Kenrick Catholic High School in Norristown, PA. I fulfilled a childhood dream of attending Villanova University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in 2006. �It wasn't until a year and a half into my office job at a Pharmaceutical company that I decided I wanted a greater challenge in life (and something more fun) so in January of 2009 I enrolled in the Secondary Education Mathematics program at West Chester University. �In 2010 I achieved my certification and was inducted into the Pi Lambda Theta International Honor Society. On May 14, 2012 I received my Master's in Secondary Education. �My teaching experience has included Radnor Middle School, Radnor High School, Science and Discovery High School, and Arcola Middle School. �All the while, I enjoyed tutoring middle school and early high school students in algebra and geometry and continue to do so!
